for my ramp it up project we decided to build a robot that would climb the board from both sides by having the wheels straight on the motors. we did not use the gears to get more torque because the structure was not strong enough and would constantly break when we used them. so we decided to put them straight on to the wheels because it was more simple and it was easier to add support to the robot so it wouldn't break on the way up.
1. the assignment was to create a robot the could climb completely vertical.
2. there really wasn't an impute factor on this, we more or less just jumped into the project
3.there wasn't much of a process either because all we had to do was adjust it and move the motore in about 1/2 an ince, wisch was 3-4 of the holes.
4..the final product is a robot that climbs at any angle by gripping both sides of the board with wheels and has a brace on the back to keep it on, and the wheels that are used as grips are used to climb and they turn so it propels upward
5. we didn't have much to correct because we were one of the first groups to finish and we had our own idea
6. i personally learned how to make our robot more stable and stronger, we also learned how to make it fast with less power and slower with more power.
7. i wouldn't do anything differently because it worked perfectly the first time.
